Fun Fall Activities

Posted by Lalonie Farnell on
Fall is in full swing around our neck of the woods! We're feeling it in the cool breezes, the changing colors of the leaves, the warmer attire, and the festive foods! We've broken out the scarves, boots, cinnamon, pumpkins, and logs for fires. We're having so much fun with the new season that we thought we'd share our favorite Fall activities with you guys!

Lotus's Favorite Fall Activities

1) Pumpkin Shopping and Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin shopping is one of my favorite things to do in Fall. I love to spread them around my house as decorations; they definitely bring the season indoors! Not to mention, this year will be my first year to actually carve a pumpkin! Well, I may have carved some when I was younger but I don't remember so this year will be the first year I carve a pumpkin and remember it! I plan to do something really creative, like maybe something of this sort!

2) Shopping for Fall/Winter Clothes

We wouldn't be style experts if one of our favorite activities wasn't shopping, right? We love love love shopping for Fall clothes! Scarves, boots, cardigans, pants-- all the best fashion has to offer in one season! And since the weather is so nice, shopping around town is even more enjoyable! I currently have 21 scarves so I don't think I will be purchasing any more of those, but I'm definitely on the hunt for some black jeans and more boots! One can never have too many pairs of boots, right? Hehe!

3) Fall Baking

Break out the cinnamon, apples, pumpkin spice, and ginger and let's start baking yummy Fall treats! Aren't these acorns I found on Pinterest the neatest idea?! I will be baking some cream cheese stuffed pumpkin muffins soon and I cannot wait for Thanksgiving so I can bake my famous Pumpkin Bread! Fall foods are so rich and wonderful; I'm so excited to dig in!!

4) Making Bonfires with Friends

It's just about that time where we can all take our logs we've gathered and make a bonfire with a bunch of friends! This is one of the best Fall activities because you can incorporate all of your favorite Fall things into one night-- you can wear your new fall clothes, you can bring freshly baked Fall treats, and you can even carve your pumpkins around the fire if you'd like! Not to mention, there's always s'mores involved and you cannot go wrong with s'mores! I got this picture from the Sincerely, Kinsey blog. This post is so lovely; you should all take a look at it!

Bonfires, scarves, pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin carving all make for a really great Fall season!

And just to think... those are only our favorite activities! Imagine how much more you can do in this wonderful season!
