It’s almost our favorite week of the semester once again: Spring Break! From bathing suits to sun dresses to sunglasses, every little part of our outfit of the day matters. High neck halter swimsuits were all the rave last summer, and we have no doubt they will be again this year. Fun print or not, these high neck bathing suits are the go-to item for the perfect beach day wear. And don’t forget to pack your cover-ups! Whether you are a little shy hanging out in only a bikini, or you just want to warm up on those windy spring beach days, a bathing suit cover-up is the perfect way to solve any problem. My favorite way to “cover up” is by tossing on a super cute and light weight kimono. It’s also perfect for making a solid colored bathing suit more interesting. Another way to touch up a simple beach day look is to add some trendy sunglasses. Show off with the not-so-basic aviator look, and throw on some funky shades! From crazy colors to heart shaped shades, going for a different look will definitely turn some heads.
Not looking to head to the beach for the day? What better to do than shop, shop, and more shop? It’s time to be cute, casual, and comfortable! My favorite thing to throw on for a day out is a super cute and comfy tie dye swing dress. The tie dye prints were the ultimate must have last summer, and they most definitely will be again this year! A pair of strappy sandals or your comfortable OTBT wedges, and your outfit is complete! For those of you not in the dress mood, there’s a style for you too. Pack your high-rise denim cutoffs and add a cute crop top and you are set for the day. A hat is sure to add some more WOW to your outfit and help with the bright sun. Don’t forget your cross body MK bag and wallet, because you know you could never end a shopping day without a few purchases from the trendy beachy boutiques. ;) And as always for a sunny day, remember to bring your bold sunglasses!
As a day comes to an end, it is time to do the sun’s job and SHINE. The best time to show off your Spring Break look is with your night on the town style! Time to show off the tan we worked our butt off to get that day. My favorite look for a night out is flare denim jeans, a patterned crop, and wedges to add height, but of course still easy to dance in! Another stylish and popular look for a night out is no doubt your favorite summer dress. Whether it is short or a maxi, a dress is definitely the easiest and most comfortable outfit to quickly put on. I love to accessorize my outfits with a watch, pearl studs, and a long tassel necklace. The double loop necklaces are also a hot hit right now!
From day to night, these outfits are sure to grab attention whenever you walk in the room (or out on the beach). So let’s make this our most fashionable Spring Break yet!
