Meet Anne at Lotus Patton Creek and Summit!

lotus boutique manager anne

Anne has been a huge help to the success and growth of Lotus, especially in the Birmingham market! She is our regional manager and runs the Patton Creek and Summit stores! Nicknamed “Mother Lotus” you can always count on Anne to help you when something goes awry! Because she runs the two biggest stores in the company, chances are she has dealt with every possible problem imaginable (probably twice!) We are so fortunate to have Anne as a part of the Lotus management team, and we look forward to seeing where she can take the Birmingham market.

1. Tell us what things you like to do when you are NOT at Lotus.

I am a new mom so I love spending time with my daughter. I enjoy taking her on walks and meeting friends at the park. I love shopping even when I'm not working! I really enjoy decorating and finding neat one of a kind pieces for our home. I also absolutely love going to see different bands play. My dad is a musician so I have a huge appreciation for music and the passion that goes into it!

2. What are a few things that are meaningful to you?

God, my daughter Hattie, Ed my boyfriend, our dogs LuLu and Earl, friends, music and my family especially my little sister Abby. I am really big into spending quality time with my family. Without them I would have nothing.

3. What are a few things on your bucket list?

I want to travel as much as I possibly can and experience different cultures. I love food and everything about it from street food to fine dining so I would enjoy spending time in Italy, India, Japan and Singapore to name a few.

4. What era in time inspires you the most? The 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s? How does this reflect in your fashion sense?

All of them because I feel like fashion builds on itself. Especially this day in age it's kind of an anything goes to a certain degree. My style is more or less a melting pot of all of them. It really just depends on what kind of mood I'm in that day as to what I'm going to wear.

5. What do you love most about your job as store manager?

First and foremost I love being able to get to know people that I normally may have never met and I get to help them find something that makes them feel beautiful whether it be a necklace, a purse, an outfit to go on their first date or 10 year anniversary. I love being able to be creative for a living. Fashion along with hair and makeup are a way for people to express themselves externally, and I enjoy being apart of their process. I also love the girls I work with for some of them it's their first job or a job in college and I get to see them grow not only as workers but into wonderful young adults. It is very rewarding. :)
